Presented by Dedham Savings, Westwood High School students can interact with professionals from many different industries, asking them questions about business and the paths they took to get to where they are in their careers. Registration is free and raffle prizes will be awarded to students who register and attend. This 3-to-4-mile hike over mixed terrain will explore Oak Hill's side trails, many of which were designed be more technically difficult. Meet at Twin Post Road in Westwood.

Read to a Dog

Time: 11:00a - 12:00p

Kids in grades K-5 can sign up for a 15-minute appointment with a therapy dog to practice their reading. Registration is required for this program. Call the library or visit in person to sign up with a librarian. Registration will begin two weeks before each event.

Hale-O-Ween

Westwood Public Library - Islington Branch, Wentworth Hall 

Time: 10a-12p and 12:30-2:30p

Celebrate fall with Hale's cast of characters and participate in nature activities, arts and crafts, a spooky hike, and s'mores by the fire. The Haunted Cabin and Madame Curious are back, too—visit if you dare! This event is best suited to families with children ages 4–10. Register for one of two 2-hour time slots.
